28 verses, revealed in Mecca after A 'araaf (Al-A 'araaf) before Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Say (O Muhammad): It is revealed unto me that a company of the Jinn gave ear, and they said: Lo! we have heard a marvellous Qur'an, 1 Guiding to the right way, so we believe in it, and we will not set up any one with our Lord: 2 for [we know] that sublimely exalted is our Sustainer's majesty: no consort has He ever taken unto Himself, nor a son! 3 'There were some foolish ones among us, who used to utter extravagant lies against Allah; 4 We had in fact thought that men and jinns would never speak a lie about God, 5 But there were certain men of mankind who would take refuge with certain men of the jinn, and they increased them in vileness, 6 So they began to think, even as you do, that God would not resurrect any one. 7 We sought to pry into the secrets of the heavens, but found it full of fierce guards and shooting flames. 8 We sat in observatories to listen; but any one who listened found a shooting star in wait for him. 9 'And we know not whether evil is intended for those on earth, or whether their Lord intends for them a Right Path. 10 ‘And among us some are virtuous and some are the other type; we are split into several branches.’ 11 We have realized that we could never thwart God on earth and that we would never be able to thwart Him by flight. 12 And that when we heard the guidance, we believed in it; so whoever believes in his Lord, he should neither fear loss nor being overtaken (by disgrace): 13 Some of us have come to submission, and some of us are iniquitous.'" Those who have submitted have taken the right course; 14 However, the deviators from the Truth will be the fuel for hell". 15 [KNOW,] THEN, that if they [who have heard Our call] keep firmly to the [right] path, We shall certainly shower them with blessings abundant, 16 so as to test them by this means: for he who shall turn away from the remembrance of his Sustainer, him will He cause to undergo suffering most grievous. 17 Mosques belong to Allah, so do not call to anyone else, other than Allah. 18 When the devotee of God stood up to invoke Him (the jinns) crowded upon him (to listen). 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
