The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
