Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
