The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 178 I ask of you no wage for this; 179 I ask of you no reward for this. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who give less (than the due). 181 weigh with an even balance 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 “And fear Him Who created you and the earlier creations.” 184 They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched! 185 And thou art but a human being like unto us, and we deem thee to be of the liars. 186 Then drop down on us lumps from heaven, if thou art one of the truthful.' 187 Answered [Shu'ayb]: "My Sustainer knows fully well what you are doing." 188 But they denied him, and We seized them with the torment of the Day of Shadowing (when the cloud had rained down fire). It was indeed the torment of a terrible day! 189 Surely, in this is indeed a sign; but most of them would not believe: 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
