The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 And the promised day, 2 And by oath of the day that is a witness and by oath of a day in which the people present themselves. 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 when they were seated around it 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 And He alone is truly-forgiving, all-embracing in His love, 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
