The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
