Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7
