Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters." 31 Does their reason tell them to say this or is it because they are a rebellious people? 32 Do they say: 'He has invented it' No, they do not believe. 33 So let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful 34 Have they not been created from some source, or are they themselves the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain. 36 Do they own the treasures of your Lord, or have they been given charge of them? 37 Do they have a ladder (by which they can climb up to the heavens) and listen (to the angels) and come back to the rest of the people with clear authority? 38 Or does Allah have daughters whereas you have sons? 39 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? 40 Is with them the Unseen, and they write it down! 41 Do they design evil plans? The disbelievers themselves will be snared by their evil plots. 42 Or do they have a God besides Allah? Purity is to Allah from their ascribing of partners to Him. 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from heaven, they would say, 'A massed cloud!' 44 Hence, leave them alone until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs, when they will be stricken with terror: 45 Their deception will not avail them in the least on that day, nor will they be helped. 46 And indeed for the unjust is another punishment before this, but most of them do not know. (Punishment in the grave is proven by this verse.) 47 And wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, for surely you are before Our eyes, and sing the praise of your Lord when you rise; 48 And proclaim His Purity during the night, and when the stars turn back. 49
