The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islamic laws or commandments), ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him. 1 He sends the angels with revelation by His command, to any of His creatures as He please, (saying): "Warn that there is no god but I, so fear Me." 2 He created the heavens and the earth with truth. Exalted is He above what they associate (with Him)! 3 He created the human being from a drop of fluid but the human being openly disputes His Word. 4 And the cattle hath He created, whence ye have warm clothing and uses, and whereof ye eat; 5 how pleasant they look when you bring them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to regions which you could not reach but with distress of the souls; most surely your Lord is Compassionate, Merciful. 7 And horses and mules and asses (hath He created) that ye may ride them, and for ornament. And He createth that which ye know not. 8 And [because He is your Creator,] it rests with God alone to show you the right path: yet there is [many a one] who swerves from it. However, had He so willed, He would have guided you all aright. 9
