T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ O MAN! 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),- 3 It is a sending down from Him who has created the earth, and the high heavens, 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 His is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever on the earth and whatsoever is in between and whatsoever is underneath the earth. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 Has the story of Moses reached you? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: "Wait! Verily, I have seen a fire, perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 And when he came to it (the fire), he was called by name: "O Musa (Moses)! 11 I am your Lord. Take off your shoes, for you are in Towa, the sacred valley. 12 I have chosen you. So listen to what is being revealed. 13 I am God, and there is no god but I, so serve Me, and observe acts of prayer to remember Me. 14 Verily the Hour (of the great change) is about to come. I keep it secret that every soul may be rewarded for its endeavour. 15 Let him who does not believe in it and follows his lust not turn your thought away from it, lest you are ruined. 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Moses? 17 He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses." 18 He said: "Moses, throw it down." 19 So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 And place your hand in your armpit, it will come forth shining white, without blemish. This is another Sign of Allah, 22 That We may show you [some] of Our greater signs. 23 Go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious." 24
