▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
Almighty Allah's Truth.
