He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 How could you know? Perhaps he would cleanse himself, 3 (He might) remember, and the Reminder might profit him. 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 to a rich man, 6 though you are not to blame if he would not cleanse himself. 7 but as for one who comes to you, eagerly 8 And with fear (in his heart), 9 From him will you divert yourself. 10 No indeed, this is a Reminder; 11 Let him who will, pay heed to it. 12 Inscribed in Writs honoured, 13 Exalted and holy, 14 (Written) by the hands of scribes- 15 Honourable and Pious and Just. 16 Perish man! how ungrateful he is! 17 Out of what did Allah create him? 18 From a sperm-drop: He hath created him, and then mouldeth him in due proportions; 19 Then He makes the Path easy for him; 20 Then He caused him to die and be buried 21 Then when He pleases, He will bring him back to life. 22 By no means he performed not that which He had commanded him. 23 Then let mankind look at his food - 24 How We pour water in showers 25 And We split the earth in clefts, 26 And We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and herbage 28 Olives and dates, 29 And dense gardens, 30 And fruits and fodder,- 31 as provision for you and for your cattle to enjoy. 32 But when the deafening cry shall be sounded 33 On the day when a man fleeth from his brother 34 his mother, his father, 35 his wife and his sons: 36 Each man will have enough cares that day. 37 Some faces on that day will be radiant, 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 whereas some faces will be covered with dust 40 Darkness will cover them, 41 those will be ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity. 42
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
