Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 noble scribes 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
