Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
