Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
