The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who determined and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
