Have you not seen how We send down to the unbelievers satans who prick them? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
