Seest thou not those that dispute concerning the Signs of Allah? How are they turned away (from Reality)?- 69 Those who deny the Scripture and that wherewith We send Our messengers. But they will come to know, 70 When carcans are about their necks and chains. They are dragged 71 and are dragged into burning despair, and in the end become fuel for the fire [of hell]. 72 And then they will be asked: "Where now are those [powers] to which you were wont to ascribe divinity 73 other than Allah' They will reply: 'They have gone astray from us. Indeed what we used to call upon before is nothing' Accordingly, Allah leads the unbelievers astray. 74 “This is the recompense of your being happy upon falsehood in the earth, and the recompense of your conceit.” 75 Enter Hell now to abide in it. How woeful is the abode of those who wax proud! 76 Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And whether we let thee see a part of that which We promise them, or (whether) We cause thee to die, still unto Us they will be brought back. 77 Surely We have sent apostles before you, some of whose account We have related to you, and that of some We have not told you. But no apostle was given a miracle unless God dispensed. But when the decree of God comes the sentence is passed with justice; and the lovers of vice and vanity will then come to grief. 78
