Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 Illustrious scribes 11 They know whatever you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
