The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
