The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
