Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the day when We shall assemble the righteous towards the Most Gracious, as guests. 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 Everyone on the Day of Judgment will individually come into the presence of God. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
