We created man -- We know the promptings of his soul, and are closer to him than his jugular vein -- 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 not even a word can he utter but there is a watcher with him, ever-present. 18 Lo, the agony of death has indeed come with the Truth. That is what you had sought to avoid. 19 The trumpet will be sounded. This is the Day [you were] warned of. 20 Every soul will be accompanied (by an angel) behind him and another as a witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 His companion said: “Here is he who was in my charge.” 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 who has set up another deity beside God: cast him, then, cast him into suffering severe!" 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
