The Originator of the heavens and the earth! How can He have a child, when there is for Him no consort, when He created all things and is Aware of all things? 101 That is Allah, your Lord. There is no god except He, the Creator of all things. Therefore, worship Him. He is the Guardian of all things. 102 No eyes can penetrate Him, but He penetrates all eyes, and He knows all the mysteries, for He is all-knowing. 103 Clear proofs have come to you from your Lord. Whoso sees clearly, it is to his own gain, and whoso is blind, it is to his own loss; I am not a watcher over you. 104 Thus do We make Our signs clear in diverse ways that they might say: 'You have learned this (from somebody)'; and 'We do this in order that We make the Truth clear to the people of knowledge.' 105 Therefore, follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord there is no god except Him, and avoid the idolaters. 106 Had God willed, they were not idolaters; and We have not appointed thee a watcher over them, neither art thou their guardian. 107 But do not revile those [beings] whom they invoke instead of God, lest they revile God out of spite, and in ignorance: for, goodly indeed have We made their own doings appear unto every community. In time, [however,] unto their Sustainer they must return: and then He will make them [truly] understand all that they were doing. 108 And they swore by Allah vehemently in their oaths that if any sign came to them, they will certainly believe in it; say, “The signs are with Allah, and what do you people know that if they came to them, they will not believe.” 109 And We shall turn aside their hearts and their eyesights, even as they believed not therein for the first time, and We shall let them wander in their exorbitance perplexed. 110
