'O Messengers, eat of the good things and do righteousness; surely I know the things you do. 51 And lo! this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, so keep your duty unto Me. 52 Yet they divided themselves into factions, each rejoicing in what they had. 53 But leave them in their confused ignorance for a time. 54 Do they think that We enlarge them in wealth and children, 55 We hasten unto them with good things? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Those who tremble with fear of their Lord; 57 And those who believe in the communications of their Lord, 58 And those who do not associate (aught) with their Lord, 59 And those who give that which they give with hearts afraid because they are about to return unto their Lord, 60 These hasten to good things and they are foremost in (attaining) them. 61 We charge not any soul save to its capacity, and with Us is a Book speaking truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 Nay, their hearts are in overwhelming ignorance with respect to it and they have besides this other deeds which they do. 63 Until, when We grasp those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment, behold! They make humble invocation with a loud voice. 64 Invoke not loudly this day! Certainly, you shall not be helped by Us. 65 For when My revelations were read out to you, you turned back on your heels and fled 66 [and,] impelled by your arrogance, you would talk senselessly far into the night." 67 Is it then that they do not ponder over what is said, or is it that there has come to them that which did not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or did you not recognize your Messenger and, thus, denied him (Muhammad) 69 Or say they: "There is madness in him?" Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. "(A) Tauhid: Worshipping Allah Alone in all aspects (B) The Quran (C) The religion of Islam,"] but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth. 70 Were the Truth to follow their desires, the order of the heavens and the earth and those who dwell in them would have been ruined. Nay, the fact is that We have brought to them their own remembrance; and yet it is from their own remembrance that they are turning away. 71 Or, do you ask a tribute from them? Your Lord's tribute is better. He is the Best of providers. 72 And certainly, you (O Muhammad SAW) call them to a Straight Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 73 but those who disbelieve in the Everlasting Life deviate from the Path. 74 ۞ And even were We to show them mercy and remove whatever distress might befall them [in this life,] they would still persist in their overweening arrogance, blindly stumbling to and fro. 75 We had seized them with the punishment, but they did not bow before their Lord nor turned to Him in humility, 76 until We open before them a gate of harsh punishment and then they will be dumbfounded. 77
