And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
