Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I pray unto Allah only, and ascribe unto Him no partner. 20 Say thou: verily I own not for you power of hurt nor of benefit 21 Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allah anyone [if I should disobey], nor will I find in other than Him a refuge. 22 if I should fail to convey [to the world whatever illumination comes to me] from God and His messages." Now as for him who rebels against God and His Apostle - verily, the fire of hell awaits him, therein to abide beyond the count of time. 23 When they see that which they were promised they shall know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in numbers. 24 Say: I do not know whether that with which you are threatened be nigh or whether my Lord will appoint for it a term: 25 The All Knowing of all the hidden does not give anyone the control over His secrets. 26 except the messenger whom He has chosen. He sends down guardians who walk before them and behind them, 27 That He may know that they have preached the message of their Lord. And He comprehendeth whatever is with them, and He keepeth count of everything numbered. 28
