The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
