Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 and refuse charity. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
