Do you not see how those who dispute about the verses of Allah how they are turned about? 69 Those who deny the Book and what We have sent down with Our apostles, will soon come to know 70 when fetters and chains shall be on their necks, and they shall be dragged into 71 In boiling water; they will then be ignited* in the fire. (Like fuel – see verse 2:24) 72 then it is said to them, 'Where are those you associated, apart from God?' 73 Beside Allah? They will say: they have failed us; aye! we have not been calling upon aught afore. Thus doth Allah lead the infidels astray. 74 (And it will be said): 'That is because you rejoiced on earth in things of which you had no right, and were very happy. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to abide therein, and (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant! 76 So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned. 77 Surely We have sent apostles before you, some of whose account We have related to you, and that of some We have not told you. But no apostle was given a miracle unless God dispensed. But when the decree of God comes the sentence is passed with justice; and the lovers of vice and vanity will then come to grief. 78
