With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
