The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
