The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
