Al-Baqarah 5 of 40
O Descendants of Israel (Jacob)! Remember My favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant towards Me, I shall fulfil My covenant towards you; and fear Me alone. 40 And believe in what I have sent down confirming what is with you, and do not be the first to disbelieve it. Do not sell My verses for a little price and fear Me. 41 And confound not the truth with falsehood, nor hide the truth while ye know. 42 And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience]. 43 ۞ Do you admonish others to do good and forget this yourselves? Yet you read the Book. Will you not then understand? 44 And seek help in patience and prayer. For it is heavy, except to the humble, 45 who reckon that they will meet their Lord and that to Him they will return. 46
