Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
