The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 The event will be abasing some, and exalting some. 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 A numerous company from among the first, 13 And a few of later ages, 14 On thrones decorated, 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 and continuous shade, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 undiminished and never denied 33 and raised couches 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
