[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
