Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
