Surely, Abraham was a nation obedient unto God, a man of pure faith and no idolater, 120 He showed his gratitude for the favours of Allah, who chose him, and guided him to a Straight Way. 121 We bestowed good upon him in this world, and in the Hereafter he shall certainly be among the righteous. 122 So We have taught thee the inspired (Message), "Follow the ways of Abraham the True in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah." 123 As for the Sabbath, it was made incumbent only on those who differed about its laws. Certainly your Lord will judge on the Day of Resurrection between them regarding the matters they disputed. 124 Call towards the path of your Lord with sound planning and good advice, and debate with them in the best possible way; indeed your Lord well knows him who has strayed from His path, and He well knows the guided. 125 If you punish, let your punishment be proportionate to the punishment you received. But if you are patient, it is better for the patient. 126 And endure you patiently (O Muhammad SAW), your patience is not but from Allah. And grieve not over them (polytheists and pagans, etc.), and be not distressed because of what they plot. 127 Surely God is with those who are godfearing, and those who are good-doers. 128
