(And recount to them the story of Moses) when Moses said to his servant: "I will journey on until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I may march on for ages." 60 When they reached the junction of the two seas they found out that they had forgotten all about the fish (which they had carried for food). The fish found its way into the sea. 61 When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." 62 He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly". 63 [Musa (Moses)] said: "That is what we have been seeking." So they went back retracing their footsteps. 64 So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. 65 Moses said unto him: May I follow thee, to the end that thou mayst teach me right conduct of that which thou hast been taught? 66 He replied, "You will not be able to have patience with me. 67 And how canst thou have patience over that which thy knowledge encompasseth not 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 The other said: "If then thou wouldst follow me, ask me no questions about anything until I myself speak to thee concerning it." 70
