'Lord' said Moses, 'expand my chest, 25 And make my mission easy. 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 Appoint for me of my folk a familiar, 29 “That is Haroon, my brother.” 30 Increase through him my strength 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 You are Well Aware of our situation." 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 when We inspired thy mother with this inspiration: 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 When thy sister went and said: Shall I show you one who will nurse him? and we restored thee to thy mother that her eyes might be refreshed and might not sorrow. And thou didst kill a man and We delivered thee from great distress, and tried thee with a heavy trial. And thou didst tarry years among the folk of Midian. Then camest thou (hither) by (My) providence, O Moses, 40 “And I created you especially for Myself.” 41 Go with My signs, you and your brother, and do not be lax in remembering Me. 42 "Go, both of you, to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds; 43 and speak to him gently, perhaps he may take heed or fear (Allah)." 44 Both said: O our Lord! Surely we fear that he may hasten to do evil to us or that he may become inordinate. 45 [Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. 46 So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance. 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 [Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses?" 49 He replied: "Our Sustainer is He who gives unto every thing [that exists] its true nature and form, and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment]. 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 It is God who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel. He has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants. 53 Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. 54
