If We grant long life to any, We cause him to be reversed in nature: Will they not then understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 So that he may warn him who is alive and feels, and justify the word against those who do not believe. 70 Have they not seen how We have created for them the cattle they master with Our Hands? 71 We have made the cattle subservient to them so they ride and consume them. 72 From cattle they get milk and other benefits. Will they not then give thanks? 73 And they have appointed Gods other than Allah, that perhaps they may be helped! 74 It is not in their power to help them; but they (the worshippers) are unto them a host in arms. 75 Muhammad, let not their words annoy you. We certainly know whatever they conceal or reveal. 76 Doth not man see that it is We Who created him from sperm? yet behold! he (stands forth) as an open adversary! 77 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" 78 Say, "He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed in every kind of creation!- 79 He has created fire for you out of the green tree from which you can kindle other fires. 80 Has He Who created the heavens and the earth no power to create the likes of them? Yes, indeed, He is the Superb Creator. 81 Whenever He decides to create something He has only to say, "Exist," and it comes into existence. 82 So glory be to Him who has control over all things. It is to Him that you will all be brought back. 83
