3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 He was one of Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the other (disbelievers and polytheists, etc.). 82 ۞ And lo! of his persuasion verily was Abraham 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" 87 And he cast a glance at the stars, 88 and said, "I am sick!" 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then he turned towards their gods and said: "Why do you not eat (of these offerings)? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 And (his people) came toward him, hastening. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!” 97 And they devised a plot for him, but We made them the humble. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face, 103 We called unto him, 'Abraham, 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 108 Peace be on Ibrahim. 109 This is how We reward the virtuous. 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 112 And We blessed him, and Isaac; and of their seed some are good-doers, and some manifest self-wrongers. 113
