Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
