The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
