Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 And I swear by the self-reproaching person (a believer). 2 Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips. 4 But man desires to continue in sin. 5 he asks, "When is this Day of Resurrection to be?" 6 Yet when the eyes are dazzled, 7 the moon eclipsed. 8 and the sun and the moon are brought together 9 on that Day will man exclaim "Whither to flee?" 10 No indeed; not a refuge! 11 unto thy Lord that Day is the recourse. 12 That Day will Man be told (all) that he put forward, and all that he put back. 13 But lo, man is well aware of himself, 14 Though he may put forth his excuses (to cover his evil deeds). 15 Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) to make haste therewith. 16 It's gathering and reciting is upon Us. 17 So, when We recite it, follow thou its recitation. 18 And thereafter verily upon us is the expounding thereof. 19 No indeed; but you love the hasty world, 20 And you have forsaken the Hereafter. 21 On that day, some faces will shine with freshness. 22 Looking toward their Lord; 23 And how many faces on that Day will be woe-begone 24 so they might think the Calamity had been inflicted upon them. 25 Yea, when (the soul) reaches to the collar-bone (in its exit), 26 and people ask, "Is there any wizard [that could save him]?" 27 and he realises that the hour of parting is come, 28 when his legs are brought together [when affliction is combined with affliction]; 29 upon that Day the driving shall be to your Lord. 30

عند قراءة القرآن الملون على الأجهزة المحمولة أو الأجهزة اللوحية، يمكنك تدوير الشاشة لتكبير النص أو تصغيره.
When reading ColorfulQuran.com on mobile or tablet devices, you may rotate the screen to enlarge or reduce the script.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
