Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 and the severally severing 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 For what day is it timed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 For a known term? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
