Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
