Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya Seen. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 upon the straight path. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
