Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
